A word from Edna
I wrote these because nobody was telling the truth.
I am 68 years old. I was raised in Greensboro, Alabama, and I learned to clean from my mama, my grandmama, the church ladies, and a whole neighborhood of women who did not have money to waste. They knew what a box of baking soda could do. They knew what would take the film off a shower door. They knew what would make gas if you mixed it wrong.
What they did not have was a book that put it all in one place, with the amounts written down and the warnings said out loud. That is what these are. I am not a scientist and I am not a doctor. I am a grandmother with a basin and a long memory. I will tell you what works in my house, what only half-works, and when you need to stop and call somebody who knows more than I do.
